"CAT'S EYE" is the 13th single released by ANRI. "CAT'S EYE" and "Dancing with the sunshine" were used as the first opening and ending theme for the anime of the same name. The song is known as one the first Japanese pop songs used as an anime theme song. The single reached #1 on the Oricon weekly charts and became her most popular song and has been covered by various artists including CHiYO, Kita Shuhei and MAX.
In 1997, an arranged version titled "CAT'S EYE -2000-" was released as her 35th single. This time, it reached #47 on the Oricon charts and charted for five weeks.
