Information
Between 2002 and 2005 Moe Kirimura was active as a U-15 gravure idol. During the early part of her career she worked extensively with glamour photographer Kiyohisa Sekise. At age 12, Moe had already grown to 161 cm in height. Her stature, physical build and confident manner set her apart from other junior idols and she achived a degree of success few other juniors have matched. As her career progressed she was frequently featured in mainstream magazines and found herself making appearances at events in the company of fellow idols several years her senior. She was also briefly involved with idol group Doll's Vox. Moe ended her idol activities around the time of her 16th birthday, although her retirement was not officially confirmed until some time later.
In December 2007 she made a brief return to public activities as a member of the official Japanese delegation to the COP13 Climate Change Summit in Bali, Indonesia. The Summit included a 'Youth Parliament' with each participating nation invited to send two 18 year old representatives. Moe was selected as one of Japan's two parliamentarians.
