Masuwaka released her first song, "Magic to Love", on the compilation album Gazen Parapara!! presents Campus Summit 2007 in the summer of 2007. From 2009 to 2011, she worked as an exclusive model for the magazine PopSister, until its final print. In 2011, Musuwaka made her official debut as a singer with the single "Bunny Days," which reached #12 on the Oricon Charts. After the event of the Tohoku Earthquake, she launched a Charity Project with fellow model Komori Jun, "We Are The One Project". In a blog entry written in July, she announced that about 160 million yen donations were raised through the project for the Red Cross Foundation.
