Information

Missing Link formed in 2004 after being discovered by YANAGIMAN, a producer who has worked with bands such as Def Tech and Ketsumeishi. The group began performing street lives in Shibuya, and in April 2005 they moved to Tokyo permanently. The following month in May their songs began to be distributed as ringtones, selling over 100,000 copies. They began recording for their first release: a self-titled mini-album. Sold on an indies label, the mini-album sold over 3,000 copies. The group continued doing lives again in 2006, including a regular event titled "MOOOVE!" at Shibuya's club asia.

Missing Link was then signed to Epic Records, a subdivision of Sony Music Entertainment. In February 2007 their first single, titled "Tsunagaru Kimochi", was released on their new label.
