"Raison d'être" is the twelfth single released by Nightmare. It was released in three versions. Type A and Type B, each came with a different music video excluding the limited edition B which included commercials for their fourth album, the WORLD Ruler and the title song of this single. The Regular/Anime Edition only came with all three songs; "Raison d'être" served as the first opening for the anime Claymore.
