General

SU is one of the later members of RIP SLYME. He is seen as the dirtiest and most shameless character having appeared in the RIP STYLE photobook dressed as a woman and completely nude.

He was childhood friends with FUMIYA, whose older brother danced with him regularly, he started off being a backup dancer for EAST ENDxYURI and even performed in the Kouhaku Uta Gassen as one of the dancers. Together, with FUMIYA they created the group Mellow Down. Eventually he joined RIP SLYME together with FUMIYA. He is also a childhood friend of SMAP member Nakai Masahiro, making his group's appearances on popular show Utaban a treat.

His prowess as a dancer is apparent in many lives, where at many times there are no routines and leave the audience expecting anything. He as well at times, breakdances.

SU has skills in playing the guitar, shown in the special solo concert. He as well has written several album tracks and b-sides for RIP SLYME.

In 2002, he married an anonymous office lady. Because he does not wear his wedding ring regularly, it has attracted gossip whether his marriage is still alive. Gossip tabloids have linked him even with popular model Kimura Kaela.

On June 25th, 2010, it was announced that he got married to Otsuka Ai. They had previously collaborated on the song "aisu×time" on her LOVE is BEST album. They divorced in November of 2018.

• He owns one dog named "Suman"
• The name SU was created through manipulation of the kanji of his real name "Kazuto". By moving the "ichi" (一) above the "hito" (人), he created the katakana Su (ス) and decided to use it regularly.
