Shimura Kaori
Shimura Kaori (志村香) is a Japanese pop singer and talent. Shimura got her start when she was a third year student in middle school where she audition and was chosen for the movie Pantsu no Ana. Thus, she debut in the movie as the leading character a year later in 1985. She would also debut under the label Nippon Columbia in the same year with the single "Kuri, Nochi Hare". However, she stop being a singer after five singles due to not getting the success she wanted with none of singles reaching the Oricon Top 10.
Later on the 80s, she joined the idol project Momoko Club. She would also appear in more variety shows and doramas after she joined the project. She also retired a bit in the 90s after getting married and becoming a housewife. But she came back to star in doramas by 2000.
