From generasia
Watanabe Keiko (渡辺桂子) is a former Japanese pop idol singer. Watanabe got her start by audition for the music audition television show Star Tanjou! but didn't get noticed till she won the grand prix award at the Hori Pro Scout Carvan contest. She later debuted as an idol singer in 1984 with the release of her first single, entitled "H-i-r-o-s-h-i". But it was a brief career as she announced an abrupt retire after marrying and moving to America on March 1986.
She later divorced and return to show business by showing up in Playboy magazines by the fall of 1987.
