MONSTA X

MONSTA X (몬스타엑스) is a Korean pop 7-member boy group under Starship Entertainment. They were formed through reality show NO.MERCY. Their name signifies the emergence of a monster who will dominate the Kpop scene, as well as the meaning of 'My star', as 'Mon' means 'my' in French.

The group debuted on May 14, 2015 with their first mini-album TRESPASS. In March 2017, MONSTA X released their first studio album and final part of "The Clan" series, THE CLAN PART 2.5 BEAUTIFUL. In May, the group signed with Mercury Records and made their debut in Japan with the single "HERO". In April 2018, their Japanese single "SPOTLIGHT" received an official gold certification by the Recording Industry Association of Japan.

Their sixth Japanese single, "Alligator -Japanese ver.-", is released this week on June 12th.
