Alisah Nina Luz Salacot Bonaobra (born April 22, 1995) professionally known as Alisah Bonaobra is a pop singer from the Philippines who began her career in competitive singing. She is a runner-up to Jason Dy who won the title in the 2nd Season of The Voice Of The Philippines.

Career

She rose to prominence as a Youtube sensation on her rendition of Idina Menzel's hit "Let It Go" in which became a viral hit in Youtube on June of 2014. To date, combined views of the clip numbered past 1.2 million.[1] She is known for being a contestant in the Gymeoke contest held by Eat Bulaga. She is now a contestant for the 2nd Season of The Voice of the Philippines [2] under the tutelage of Black Eyed Peas member Apl de Ap.

Personal Life

Born into a family of street vendors since 1987. Her mother and sister are also competitive singers. Apart from singing duties, she works as a side walk vendor selling homemade foods along with her mother in the streets of Paco, Manila. She is also a trained classical vocalist and former a Battig scholar at St. Scholastica's College, Manila but soon dropped out to pursue her professional singing career. [1] She is good friends with singer-actress Vell Baria since 2012.
