Akimoto Junko

Akimoto Junko (秋元順子) is a Japanese kayoukyoku singer singed to King Records. She made her debut in 2005 with the single "Madison-gun no Koi". Akimoto is know for the popularity of her third single "Ai no Mama de...". The single debuted at #40 on the Oricon charts but later climbed to #1 after her performance at NHK 59th Kouhaku Uta Gassen, marking her the oldest artist to have an Oricon chart-topper.
