fromis_9 (프로미스나인) is a Korean pop project girl group that was formed via the Mnet TV show Idol Hakgyo. Their name is pronounced like "Promise" and stands for "From Idol School". On August 16, 2021 it was announced that the group would be managed by Pledis Entertainment. On January 1, 2025, the group left PLEDIS and HYBE. They are currently under ASND.
