Panic Channel is the band's heavy and dark visual-kei side, while PANIC☆ch is the band's happy and fun oshare-kei influenced pop rock side. Both personas are pronounced panic channel but are written differently. For releases, a single band can occupy one, or they can both occupy it. It's the same with live performances; by reading tour information you can tell which band plays where. Panic Channel was formed in November of 2002 by ex-Glass drummer MEGURU, and ex-Virtione members Kana and Tara. In March of 2003 Panic Channel debuted PANIC☆ch.
