Information

HYNA, born in Japan in 1988, is a Japanese Pop singer. She specializes in upbeat dance tracks that are comparable in style to Koda Kumi. She cites Beyonce, Britney Spears, and Lady Gaga as her main inspirations. HYNA played piano since the age of 4, and in 1997 began writing and composing music. In the avex audition, a-motion, in 2007, her song "My Dream" won out of 4000 participants. After being sent to a major record label, HYNA soon found out that it was not what she envisioned for her music and left to perform at smaller venues in Tokyo and try her own hand at producing music.

Her first major debut single, TARATIKA was released on June 15th, 2011, with two B-sides.
