BAND-MAIKO is the 1st mini-album released by BAND-MAID as BAND-MAIKO. It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD edition. This was a follow-up to the previous year's April Fool's Day prank, where the band rebranded themselves with a Maiko theme. Six of the tracks are re-recordings of Band-Maid songs to include traditional Japanese instruments and lyrics sung in the Kyoto dialect. The last track, "Gion-cho," is an original new song.
