- She majored in ballet and graduated from Universal Academy, an academy under the Universal Ballet Company. She also performed the pas de trois scene from the production of Swan Lake in a performance held by the Academy in 2021. YouTube
- She won the silver prize in the upper elementary classical class in 2016 and the grand prize and special prize in the lower middle school classical class in 2018 at competitions held by the Korea Professional Ballet Association (K-PROBA).
- She has worked as a model for the ballet wear brand "Messiah".
- Since she and member Yoon Seoyeon share the same first name, a Gravity was held to decide on a stage name for her. The name "JiYeon" was ultimately decided, excluding the middle part of her real name.
