GIRLSET is a global girl group under JYP Entertainment that was formed via the survival show A2K. They made their official debut in 2024 as VCHA, coming from the Korean word "Bichwo" (비춰) which means "illuminate". After the departure of two members, the group was rebranded as GIRLSET.

VCHA was formed under JYP Entertainment through the survival reality show A2K. On September 21, 2023, the final episode of the show revealed the debut lineup and group name. Their pre-debut digital single, "SeVit (NEW LIGHT)", was released the following day.
