CECIL is a Japanese indie pop group of at least three women and two men. Little is known about the members, but yukichi is the vocalist for their songs. Illustrator Kanbara Kunie has done the jackets for most of their CDs. In 2004, the song super "shomin" car was used as an ending theme for the film Shimotsuma Monogatari. CECIL is seemingly on hiatus, although the record label's website in which they are the centralized artist was recently renewed.
