Nakahara Meiko (中原めいこ) is a former Japanese pop singer-songwriter. Ever since she was a child, Nakahara had played the piano and had dreams of becoming an idol singer. She had her dream come true in 1982 when she released of her first single "Konya Dake DANCE DANCE DANCE". With a blend of latin and ballad, Nakahara Meiko was well-received in the 1980s. But, in 1992, she retired from show business.
