Nihei Yuuka made her first appearance as a potential member of PINK CRES. in March 2016, in training footage from the second "2015 Natsuyaki Miyabi New Group Audition" being shown on the webshow "Upcoming". She was revealed to be one of two audition winners, along with Kobayashi Hikaru, on April 1, 2016 in the last segment aired.
