[[Atari Kousuke]]'s eight full length album release, and second original full length album under a major label. This is Atari's second release, and first album to be available in both CD only and CD+DVD formats. The CD+DVD was a first press limited edition and featured footage from his 2008 acoustic live ''Tane wo Maku Hibi''. Like his first major full-length album, the first press of ''Kizuna Uta'' came in a three-fold slip case. First press also came with stickers.

This album contains the album version of ''Yasoukyoku ~nocturne'', which was first available on his Taiwan release album [[Hua Jian Dao]]. Track 10 of this album is ''Tegami'', however this is a completely different song from the ''Tegami'' that appears on his [[Natsukasha no Shima]] mini album. Track 12, ''Michi no Tochuu'', was originally on the [[Tane wo Maku Hibi]] single. The Hong Kong release of this album featured a bonus track of [[Sorezore ni]], as this track was featured (alongside Atari himself) in the Taiwan film ''Cape No.7''. Track 7, ''LALALA''', was used in an Ajinomoto commercial.


Track three features a special guest vocalist, ''宝美''.
