The One is Osawa Shinichi's first album under rhythm zone in Japan. The album was also released by SM Entertinment in South Korea, avex trax in Taiwan, Dim Mak Records in the US, and Southern Fried Records in the UK . The album reached #43 on the Oricon weekly chart in Japan and charted for six weeks.
