"YELL / Joyful" is the fifteenth single released by Ikimono Gakari. "YELL" was a choral song for NHK's 76th Annual School Music Contest in the junior high level, while "Joyful" was used as a Ezaki Glico "Chocolate Pocky" CM song. The first press of the single came with either "ikimono card 014" or "ikimono card 015". The RIAJ has certified "YELL" Double Platinum for Chaku Uta downloads of over 500,000 and Double Platinum for Chaku Uta Full downloads of over 500,000. The song "Joyful" has also been certified, both as Triple Platinum for Chaku Uta downloads of over 750,000 and Double Platinum for Chaku Uta Full.
