Sawada "Taiji" Yasushi is the former bass player of the Visual-Kei pioneer X. Taiji joined the band in 1987 and left in Janurary of 1992, when he was replaced by Heath. After his departure from X, Taiji has worked with bands such as LOUDNESS, Cloud Nine and D.T.R. In 2004 he started working with his sister in a band called OTOKAZE.
