Information

Miyo is the lead vocalist of coo:ya, and of Tokyo Anastasia. In 1998, she met the keyboardist Kurage Honda (formerly the front runner of GRASS VALLEY, a New Wave 1980's band) through a producer, and the two have been inseparable ever since.

Coo:ya is a band which transcends any Jpop genre, granting its own unique style. Tokyo Anastasia is far different; this self-proclaimed "spoiled princess" group snags other Jpop artists randomly and plays songs together.

Miyo never uses English lyrics (except for very early on in her career) as she enjoys the sound of Japanese language overtones.
