"fantastic dreamer" is the first major single (second overall) released by Machico. It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. The title track was used as the opening theme for the anime Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wo!.
The single reached #42 on the weekly Oricon chart, and charted for a total of ten weeks.
