fromis_9 promoting Midnight Guest (2022)

fromis_9 (프로미스나인) is a Korean pop 9-member project girl group that was formed via the Mnet TV show Idol Hakgyo. Their name is pronounced like "Promise" and stands for "From Idol School".

The group debuted on January 24, 2018, under Stone Music Entertainment with the release of their mini-album, To. Heart. In September 2018, it was confirmed that fromis_9 would be managed by Off the Record Entertainment, a new label established by Stone Music. As part of their management, PLEDIS was in charge of creative direction and the production of the group's music from debut.

The group was co-managed by Off the Record and Stone Music. As of August 16, 2021, as part of the label reorganization of Off the Record Entertainment, it was announced that the group would be managed by Pledis Entertainment.

After the release of their special single album "Talk & Talk" on September 1 2021, the group achieved their first ever music show win on September 7th's SBS MTV's The Show.

Their fourth mini-album, Midnight Guest, is released this week on January 17th.
