Hajimari no Uta is the fourth major album released by ikimono-gakari. It is their first album to come in both a CD+DVD format and a CD only format. Track #8, "Cosmos", is a self-cover of the same named track off their debut indie mini-album, Makoto ni Senetsu Nagara First Album wo Koshiraemashita.... The first press for the CD+DVD edition comes in a deluxe box with a 24 page special booklet that contains pictures from 1999-2009.
