Yamazaki Mayumi (山崎真由美) is a former Japanese idol singer and Onyanko Club member B5.

Information

Yamazaki Mayumi got her start in show business in 1986 by successfully passing the Yuuyake Nyan Nyan auditions. By doing this, she was able to join the idol group by becoming a understudy member with four other members. However, she graduated from the group on March 20, 1987 on Yuuyake Nyan Nyan. This didn't stop Yamazaki's goal to become a singer as she released her first single, "Hitomi wo Mitsumete", in 1988.

In 1991, she changed agency and went to Yellow Cab. Soon after, Yamazaki joined the gravure group Lady's with Hosokawa Fumie and Fujisawa Hitomi and gradually began to do nude photobooks. But, she retired from show business three years later in 1994 after getting married.

Currently, she runs a Hawaiian quilt company called Lehua Hearts.
