AMIAYA consists of identical twins Ami Suzuki (younger twin sister) and Aya Suzuki (elder twin sister). The sisters moved to Tokyo at age 15 to pursue their dream of becoming artistes and eventually found their way into modeling for hair salons and street snaps on magazines. By the time they were 17, they became regular faces in popular magazines. They also gained popularity for their original creativity in hair and makeup and fans imitating their styles multiplied overnight.

On the 10th of April, AMIAYA released a new single, Magic Color, as part of Dariya Corporation’s Palty campaign collaboration project. The single was used in Palty’s TV commercial and the twins appeared in the ad, which went on-air in April 2013. On August 7 on the same year, a new single under the title “STAR LINE/DIO” was released.

On 2014 it was announced that the twins were going to release new digital singles for two consecutive months. “ICON (#YourICON version)” was released on April 30th followed by “FAIRY SONG”, which was released on May 21st. A new fashion guide book named “AMIAYA TWINS” went on sale on May 10th. Aditionally, on June 6th it was revealed through their website and twitter that a new single titled “XXsupafreaks” will be released on iTunes on July 2nd.
