Abyss is the major debut mini-album and second overall mini-album released by Matenrou Opera. It is their first release since signing with KING RECORDS in mid 2010. This was released in two different versions: a limited edition and a regular CD+DVD edition. The limited edition comes in a box and contains a T-shirt, while the regular edition includes a DVD of the music video for the mini's promotional song "Mou Hitotsu no Hanayome" along with its making. The mentioned track was used as the December ending theme song of the TV program V no Ryuugi and the January opening theme song of the TV program Poshure Department Store Shin'ya-ten. The mini-album reached #66 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for three weeks. It is currently their #1 ranking album on their Oricon album ranking chart.[1]
