Information
DEEP GIRL was formed from Fuji Television Network's show "Deep Girl". They started out as an 8 girl group, but Renren left before they made their debut and joined Saishuu Mirai Heiki mofu instead.
The group stated that if their first single is not within the top 10 of Oricon's weekly chart they will disband. Their first single "Deep Girl" was released on July 8, 2015. The single made it to #13 with its first week of sales, selling 5,848 copies.On October 18th, 2015, Yuuyu graduated from the group and joined the idol unit Iketeru Heart.
The news of the release of their second single was announced in the fall of 2015, set for a release in Febuary 2016. On January 14th, it was announced that Erina was suspended due to various circumstances, but the planned release of a her edition of the single would still be available for purchase.
