Hotaru is Onitsuka Chihiro's 14th single. Hotaru was selected by film distributor Cinequanon to be the theme song for the upcoming film Last Game: Saigo no Soukeisen directed by Koyama Seijiro. Chihiro performed the song for the first time at the Shibuya Orchard Hall on April 26th, her first solo concert in almost five years.
