Karen (歌恋) is an enka singer signed to Sun Music Group, releasing through the Nippon Crown record label. She was formerly a member of Nice Girl Project, but graduated in the fall of 2010.

Karen first audition for the Happy 8ki Audition in 2006 for the group Morning Musume but didn't pass. But that didn't stop her from being a singer as she joined GTT Club and first performed at Shibuya O-EAST a year later. She also released her first single and performed various roles for Tsunku Theatre productions by 2007.
