Information
Karen first audition for the Happy 8ki Audition in 2006 for the group Morning Musume but didn't pass. But that didn't stop her from being a singer as she joined GTT Club and first performed at SHibuyaO-EAS a year later. She also released her first single and performed various roles for Tsunku Theatre productions by the 2007. After completing a challenge to sell 1,000 copies of her debut indie single in June-July 2009 and also lose an agreed amount of weight. Karen was signed to Victor Entertainment with a goal to release her debut single on September 23, 2009.
