Legend is the debut album released by Kim Hyun Jung. "Geunyeohwaui Ibyeol" and "Honjahan Sarang" were used as the lead tracks. When the album was initially released in 1997, it failed to make a sizeable impact on the charts. The rising success of the first single prompted Kim's company to redebut her and re-release the album in 1998. It sold over 480,000 copies.
