History

Linda III Sei, also known as Linda Sansei or Linda 3 Sei, was formed in 2013 featuring third-generation Brazilian-Japanese members from Gunma, Japan. The group's name was created using a combination of languages, with "Linda" meaning a feminine "beautiful" in Portuguese and "III Sei" referencing their third generation descent in Japan. The sound for the group was described as B-pop with some baile funk and EDM influence, and the group's dance style incorporated elements of Brazilian dances, most notably the samba. The group opened auditions for a second generation of members in late 2013.
