Love Jam
LOVE JAM was Otsuka Ai's second album release in, can you believe it, in less than eight months! Like the previous album, this one also contained 12 tracks, three of which were released as singles and one to be released as a re-cut single (albeit a different version) months later. The DVD included a short film that was featured in her [Kingyo Hanabi] music video, and an animated video for [Daisuki da yo.] featuring her character, LOVE. Even though it was released just months after her first album, it was a success, selling over 400,000 copies and was included in 2004's list of best selling albums.
Like her singles and first album, the CD only included a photobook as a first press bonus. This album also marks the first time Ai self-produced. Like her first album, she wrote, composed, and co-arranged all the songs.
The covers were a bit of a controversial item when it was released.
