M-ON (Music On! TV) is a Japanese youth culture and pop video channel broadcast nationally via satellite and cable.
Information
M-ON is a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment. The station first started broadcasting in 1998 under the name Viewsic but was rebranded as M-ON in 2004.
In 2012 M-ON also assumed responsibility for Sony Japan's magazine publishing business. M-ON Books publishes a variety of titles including music magazines:
- What's In (jpop magazine)
- Girlpop (idol magazine)
- Lisani (anison magazine)
