Ryosuke "Dr.R" Sakai

Sakai Ryosuke (酒井亮介), better known as Dr.R or Ryosuke "Dr.R" Sakai, is a Japanese composer and music producer based in Tokyo. He is the first Japanese-based producer managed by the iconic record label Geffen Records. Sakai has quickly become one of the most desired producers in Japan. His work has topped the charts numerous times including three #1 singles and ten #1 albums. He has also produced 12 theme songs for film and television. Sakai was most recently credited as a producer on Poppy's album Poppy.Computer, which has amassed over 70 million streams to-date, broke into the top 10 on the iTunes US Pop chart, and was named one of the top 20 best albums of the year according to the Rolling Stone magazine.
