Ueda Hiroe

Ueda Hiroe (上田浩恵) is a a Japanese pop singer-songwriter. Ueda made her debut in 1986 with the single "Solo Sapience" under the label Pony Canyon. After five singles and two albums, Ueda decided to end her contract with Pony Canyon in 1988. Ten years, Ueda appeared on the game soundtrack luv wave ~Original Soundtrack and began to write songs for various seiyuu.

In 2004, Ueda went back home in Miyazaki and formed the gospel, R&b, and jazz band Neo Chikara under the name Whoopin. She also began to lead the Miyazaki Gospel Choir at the same time.
