RADWIMPS

RADWIMPS is a Japanese rock band under the EMI Music Japan label. The band hails from Kanagawa Prefecture and was formed in 2001. They made their indie debut in 2003 with the single "Moshi mo". In 2005, they signed with the label EMI Music Japan and released their fourth single "25 Kome no Senshokutai". They released their third album (first major label album) RADWIMPS 3 ~Mujintou ni Motteiki Wasureta Ichimai~ in 2006 which showcased the bands popularity and sold over 13,800 copies in its first week and charted for 161 weeks. In a survey in 2006 conducted by Oricon on what musical acts were likely to become popular in 2007, RADWIMPS were voted in second. The band released their first number one charted single "Order Made" in 2008 and sold over 116,000 copies, proving the bands popularity even more.

Since RADWIMPS debut, they have released fifteen singles, 6 albums, and 3 DVDs. The groups fifteenth single "Dreamer's High" was released March 27th, 2013.
