Information

Fronted by vocalist and songwriter Kawatani Enon, indigo la End first formed in 2009 and began making music in 2010. The band's name is taken from the Spitz album Indigo Chiheisen. Before making their national debut, a line-up change occurred with Wada Mariko replacing founding bassist E ni Naranai Kacho, who is now a member of Kawatani's other project, Gesu no Kiwami Otome..

In April 2012, the band made their national debut with the extended play Sayounara, Subarashii Sekai under the indie music label eninal. Shortly after, Wada announced her departure from the band in June. In December 2013, indigo la End signed a major label contract with unBORDE at the same time as Gesu no Kiwami Otome.. The two bands also made their major debut on the same day with indigo la End putting out their third extended play Ano Machi Record. During the COUNTDOWN JAPNA 14/15 event, drummer Ohta Yusuke announced his departure from the band, and support member Sato Eitaro was brought in to replace him as a main member.
