routeφ promoting "START" (2002)
route0 (or routeφ, pronounced "route yon") was an idol pop duo made up of Japanese member Takahashi Marina and Korean member Choi Soo Young. They were produced by Kawamura Ryuichi.

In December of 2001, the show ASAYAN began their "Korea Japan Ultra Idol Duo Audition." From out of 15,000 applicants, the final two chosen were Takahashi Marina of Japan and Choi Soo Young of Korea. At the time, Marina was 12 and Soo Young was only 11. The group made their musical debut in April of 2002 with the single "START".
