WJSN (우주소녀; Wu Ju So Nyeo) (宇宙少女; Uchuu Shoujo in Japanese or Yǔzhòu Shàonǚ in Chinese), also known as Cosmic Girls, is a Korean pop girl group created by Starship Entertainment and Yuehua Entertainment. They debuted in 2016 as a 12-member group that consisted of both Korean and Chinese members. On July 11, 2016, Starship Entertainment confirmed the addition of Yeonjung to the group. On March 3, 2023, it was announced that the Chinese members, who had been on hiatus from the group since late 2018 to focus on promotions in China, and Luda and Dawon had not renewed their contracts with the company.
