Kotoba is 19's debut album. The title uses the kanji for Ongaku (music), but the reading is Kotoba (words). It reached #2 on the Oricon charts with first week sales of 258,210 copies. It charted for 36 weeks and sold a total of 882,570 copies, becoming the #26 album of 1999. This album was re-released in 2008 with a lowered price.
