IMAGE is the second album released by LUNA SEA. "SEARCH FOR REASON" is re-recorded from their demo tape, SHADE while "MOON" is re-recorded from their 1991 debut album, LUNA SEA. The album reached #9 on the Oricon weekly charts, charted for 14 weeks and sold 110,500 copies.
On January 24th 2007, a low-priced edition of the album was released. On December of the same year, the album was re-released featuring a bonus DVD with the music video for "Dejavu". This re-issue reached #189 on the Oricon weekly charts and charted for one week.
