- Information
Aozora no Hate is Okuda Miwako's third single, but her first under BMG Japan. The song was used as the theme song of the TBS Drama Yankee Boko ni Kaeru. This also marks the start for her collaborations with lyricists and producer Yuu Miri. Okuda's career had been dormant since the beginning of 2001 before this release.
The song is written on the theme of hope and despair of a 16-year-old high school student. The PV was taken from the intention to focus on the lyrics and singing, so it was made in black & white. Okuda's face was painted dark and she wore black bangs, as to avoid the exposure on the visual side. Zetsubou no Hate is a different version of Aozora no Hate, included on her debut album Futari.
