Crown J (크라운 제이) is a South Korean rapper represented by Fly Boy Entertainment, an independent record label he founded in 2008. He gained mainstream success after being a faux married couple to singer Seo In Young in the MBC We Got Married variety show, and brings US styled Hip hop to South Korean audiences. Crown J has since returned to the United States to expand his global musical career.

Information

Crown J first made his debut in 2006 with his album ONE & ONLY. Though the album was unsuccessful it managed to give him recognition as the album was co produced by many prominent K-Hip Hop artist such as MC Mong and Dynamic Duo.

In 2007 Crown J released his second studio album Miss Me? The album manged to chart higher than his first album.

Crown J appeared on the MBC variety show We Got Married playing a faux married couple alongside Seo In Young in early 2008. Together they recorded and released their couple theme song "Too Much" as a digital single.

In October 2008 Crown J released his first mini album Fly Boy.

Crown J released his second digital single "I'm Good" in July 2009. The single was first released in Korea and in late 2009 he began promotions for his US debut. While collaborating with American rapper Young Dro Crown J reissued the single in English in the US.
