Information
Okuda promoting the album

Futari is Okuda Miwako's debut album, released only a month after one of her most successful singles (Ame to Yume no Ato ni). It features six tracks from her previous four singles, a live track and six new songs. It reached #40 on the Oricon charts, charting for 4 weeks.

Futari is a pop/rock album, alternating ballads and more energetic songs (sometimes these two styles in the same song). Its uniqueness comes from the words which detonated in the cozy world of Jpop. Miwako tells stories of lack, doubt and pain. Several songs deal with thoughts and evoke suicide and death...
